New Cellphone Holder for a Droid

I have glued the lining and sewed up the edges to finish my new cellphone case.

Picture Frame Mat Done!

I decided not to oil this project.  I went straight for the kill and sealed it with Clear-Lac.  I wanted to finish this project differently.

The Tooling is Done!

I completed the tooling process.  The leather is still cased so I will allow it to dry before I proceed.  Since this is a buff color leather, I will probably oil it with Neatfoot oil to darken the leather a bit.   Stay tune

Beveling is Done!

Now, on to the shading and backgrounding.

Flowers and Leaves are started

New Picture Frame Mat for an 8" x 10"

I started a new picture fram mat for an 8" x 10" frame.  The pattern was found in a Leather Crafter's & Saddler's Journal designed by Mr. Chan Geer.

New Swivel Knife Holster!

Thanks goes to Clay Miller Tools for my new 'purpleheart' barrel and Mr. Jeremiah Watt for my freshly engraved saddle....this discontinued Al Stohlman swivel knife's upgrade is almost done....the blade is next.  The pattern will be posted on my facebook if you are interested.

Practice, practice, practice!

As I sit here contemplating the details of our guild meeting tomorrow night.....I watch all of my current projects drying from their respective finishes.....I find the time and need to do some swivel knife practice.  Freelance of course....messing around with the depth of my cuts and swwing how long I can drag a tail.  Nothing big...just working my bit of steel!
