Here is but just a portion of my swivel knife collection. Most of them are are just for my collection though all with blades are sharp and ready for use, if needed. My collection continues to grow a bit at a time.
I like this picture. If you were going to buy a swivel knife for all-around use that is currently in production, what would it be?
If you like a light object, I would highly recommend any Leather Wrangler knife (top left pink). If you like the feel of something in your hand while working, I would recommend an Ol' Smoothie by Chuck Smith Tools (4th from the top left). Now, if you are concerned about cost because the first two recommended will set you back at least $110, you can always look at the Hidecrafter Lancer knifes for $45. They come in two sizes, but their blades suck! Barry King Tools makes a blade that will fit these knifes for $15 each. I hope this helps.
Great, that gives me something to think about. I have had my eye on a knife from Barry King. What do you think about his knives? I have heard the blades are nice.
BK knives are great for the price. I have had a couple of issues with my saddles, but one good thing about BK is his customer service. BK's blades are top flight for the cost. I hear that BK is not making blades to fit Tandy swivel knifes now.
They have been used very often for saving people from accidents, slice open articles, and even as defense against crimes. Pocket knife
James...yes you are correct, a typical cutting instrument has a variety of uses to include those you mentioned. In this blog, I mentioned a cutting instrument that is used to cut into leather. Thanks for posting!
